The Fine Print
DISCLAIMER: There has been quite a bit of confusion in response to the recent Presidential Executive Order regarding the forcing of mom and pop gunsmiths to register as full fledged manufacturers under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). In hoping to minimize the industry outcry, the U.S. State Department's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) issued a clarification document on July 22, 2016, which can be found here.
This formal explanation from the DDTC reinforces that all sales and LIMITED gunsmith operations executed at Midwest Precision LLC are fully legal to the best of our understanding. |
WARNING: All firearms are inherently dangerous and should be handled with care. Read and fully understand the operations manual of your firearm before use. If you are unclear as to how to safely handle a firearm or wish to learn how to properly use your particular firearm, we ask that you seek proper training or contact us before proceeding, and we can connect you with an appropriate class or instructor.
